Good morning,

Today I decided I wasn’t going to let another day go by without diving into what the Lord has to say to me.  It is so easy for me to forget about God and go about my day as if nothing was wrong.  Wow I said that out loud.  It is true though, I do forget to ask God first and then go on with my day.  My life gets so busy filled with stuff.  I don’t forget that I am a child of God but I do forget to dive into what he has to say about how to live each day.  How about you?

There are days that I will just be sitting there and something will have happened and I will just have to laugh and say okay God I get it and ask for his forgiveness because I was a knuckle head for not asking him first.  The power in those lessons are so overwhelming because even though I may disappoint God time and time again he loves me and forgives me.

Today I read the verse John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

I thought that verse was a great verse to share with each of you today considering what lies ahead of us in the months, weeks, and days to come.  We are in the middle of reading Lasting Impact.  The way I see it, is that we are in this together.  Each of us represents a small part of Trinity and together WE ARE TRINITY

I hope that you will continue to pray for COURAGE,CLARITY, STRENGTH and now WISDOM.  I pray that we will stop and listen to how God is telling us to act and that when he does: one by one we will stand to the challenge because:

WITH GOD ON OUR SIDE ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

Blessings on your day

This touched me today – From Proverbs 30;

Two things I ask of you;
    deny them not to me before I die:
Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
    give me neither poverty nor riches;
    feed me with the food that is needful for me,
lest I be full and deny you
    and say, “Who is the Lord?”
or lest I be poor and steal
    and profane the name of my God.

Wow Ken,

Thanks so much for sharing that with me today.  I read through it once and got up and walked away because I didn’t hear what I was reading.  I came back and sat down and read it again verse by verse and heard loud and clear.

I love hearing how others have verses that speak to them.  I loved verse 8 and what I heard it God will give me what I need at that moment, nothing more and nothing less.

Getting to that place and knowing that I need nothing more and God will provide. I know that I fall short thinking I could always use this or I really want that.  What I need to be saying is thank you Lord for my life and all that you give to me to manage under your authority.

Thanks for being a blessings to me today Ken.

Blessings on your day
