My Prayer Through Psalm 143:8-10

Repeat it, share it, personalize it. God is happily waiting for us to share any intimate thoughts and feelings with Him!

Heavenly Father, let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you (help me listen).

Show me where to walk, for I give myself to You (and bless me with clarity that I am on Your path and not my own tangent that sorta seems ok, too, but, subtly, ends up off course).

Father, teach me to do Your will, for You are my God (and when I start to feel the allure of worldly idols, replace my desires with Your desires because I tend to get confused).

May Your gracious Spirit lead me forward on firm footing (I know this is Your desire, Father, and it sounds good and stable, but, honestly, a little abstract. Please show me, with clarity when I am venturing off, and I will call out to the Spirit to get me back on track).

Thank you for Your Word, Father, and for listening to my struggles living it out. I know it is a work in progress, but I do believe that You are working in me, and that gives me peace and comfort.

in Your son, Jesus’ name, my Savior and Lord.

Well prayed…I could echo (and do!) every stanza. I pray this for myself, my family members and all my sisters and brothers in Christ who believe and therefore are growing in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Psalms calm me. I add to it Psalm 46, which we studied in Life Group last week. I pray we will all make time to “be still and KNOW that He is God!”
